Dear Timothy
If you have any fear or trouble with the cranks, let me know by return of post: and I will send the long ones over and two single crank pins: to fit the large holes of the Wheel. It appears to me; that one of the side rods, must have bent to let the other get over the Centre: otherways it could not get past
How does the new plan of the wheels do? is there any appearance of working loose? How does the old Engine get on?
I hope by this time you have got the Shops covered in; so as to get the Engines under cover to repair them.
I hope Robert Morry will get his heart up and try to do better it certainly was a sad mistake in him to leave the Engine as he did at Darlington last Sataurday night.
We will not be long in getting another Engine ready for you so that
you will have more time to repair.
I am dear Timothy
Yours truly
Geo Stephenson
