Letter from William Thompson, Darlington to John Wesley Hackworth, Darlington

Titled 'Middlesbrough Jubilee' [anniversary of railway coming to Middlesbrough]. William Thompson worked with Timothy Hackworth to build the first staithes for shipment of coal at Darlington, suggests that John Wesley Hackworth should be involved in the Jubilee. Describes work on the staithes. Thomas Greener was in charge of the engine and machinery.
