November 11th 1831 Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

Ralph Stephenson has agreed to do the work for the Company that he refused to do the last week for 4 Months Commencing November 1st 1831 ----------

November 8th 1831 John Gascons Man came dowen Darlington Run with all his Breaks up and Ran up against the Waggons before him and broke 2 Waggons and A Horse Carriage and lamed A Horse; the man taking himself of the way and Refused to tell his name {fined 2/6}

November 18th 1831 Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

As the Company has about 100 three quarter chaldron Waggons standing of the way not likely to be of any more use I Would have the Commettee to take it into Consideration what they think will be best to do with them; for I don’t think they will be of any more use to the Company ----

As the Company has Raither been imposed on both by the Coal Oweners and the leaders by the Company being Charged the Same for the ¾ Chaldron Waggons as the Chaldron Waggons
