Feb 6th As the Leading Waggons was assending the Black Boy North Bank the Flanges on the Drum being to low for the Roaps; the East Roap got upon the West Roap Drum and by the Shock of the Waggons it Revarsed the motion of the Drum and Broke and tor several Sheaves Up

Feb 23d 16 Loading Waggons came A main down the Black Boy South Bank and Broke 7 Waggons and Bent Several Rails; What with the Damage Done to the Waggons and Rails and Loss of Coals &c will Ammount to 40 £ or more all by neglect of them not Putting in the Chocks which is placed there

for that purpose I was at the Engine not an hour before that and found the chocks not put in and Cautioned them about it
{To be fined 5£ each deduct 1£ per month from their wages}

Feb 23d Mr Midcalff Builder is Delivering his Stones &c up the Black Boy Plain on the South Bank and is Breiking down the Coy Quick Fence {To agree to build a wall to the satisfaction of our Engineer, or be taken before the magistrates for Felony EP }
