February 28th 1834, Reports made to the Stockton & Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

The Owners of New Etherly Colliery has offered there small Coal to the Railway Company, for Ballast, and the use of Fixed Engines, for 1s/- per waggon; that is to deliver it at Brusselton West Bank Foot for the above price; Which will make a difference to Brusselton Engine of 3s/- per Day

Robert Young has agreed to take the Brusselton Engine to Find Hemp Oil & Tallow &c, for 14 Shillings per Day; Commenced on the 1st Day of March,

Ralph Young & Brother has agreed to take the Black Boy Engine to Find Hemp Oil & Tallow &c; Oil for waggons, and Coals for Engine; for 13 Shillings per day, Commenced on the first of the present Month
