could not be depended on for a Single day on account of their Frames being so imperfect
J G has no reasonable Grounds for complaints against Wm Listers Contract not having been fully complied with; except the Engines not having been keept Clean and neatly Painted according to Agreement

Nov 6th 1835, Jno Graham Reports to the Commettee
Octr 31st Ricd Allen with the Hope Engine [underlined] Ran Foul of the Empty Waggons Assending at the North End of the Suspention Bridge and has done considerable damage to the Engine & Waggons; damage to Waggons 7 £
Agreable to the orders of Last week J G has examned the old Iron Tank and its Value is about 20 Shillings
J Graham begs Leave to inform the Commettee that more Standage for the waggons at the Black Boy Branch is very much wanted, and as the Company has no Land below the Branch, J G would Recomend a Siding being made
