June 20th 1834 Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

The Copper Tube and Brass Pipes are in Mr Hackworth’s Valuation The Pipes are ⅛ of an inch to Small and 2½ feet to Long for the Copper Tube the Pipes were got for the North Star Engine
Mr Hackworth Recomends the Common Copper Pipes

The Shildon Engine to be put in Order to take the Coaches with all possible dispatch

June 27th 1834 Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

The Engineman Reported by the Chairman for Blowing of his Steam Last week was James Gladding, he told me his Steam was blowing off before he met the Carrage and for fear of the Horses Taking Fright he keept down Bothe the Valves with his Hands untill the Horses got Past and then Left go

The Water at Goospool is quite done, we have tried one of the Long Engines with the Middlebro water and it answers very well
