Septr 11th One of Black Boy Waggon Axles Broke near Aycliffe Lane and has done considerable Damage to the Railway, Jno Graham is of opinion that the Damage Ought to Come upon the Colliery the Axle being wore down to Only ½ the Size { to charge to the Colliery }
Wm Smith of New Shildon desired J Graham to applie to the Committee for the Lone of One of the Companys Coaches to Come down to Darlington with on Sunday next to go to a Camp meeting at Cockerton.

Septr 16th A Wheel & 2 Bottom Shets and Some of the guard Irons belonging to one of Old Etherly waggons was broke on Myers Flat by One of the Cast Iron Rails Braking Damage to waggons about 30 Shillings
