November 15th 1833, Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

Gentlemen
I beg leave to call your attention to the following points where I think A Considerable saving to the Company can be Effected
1st Is the Darlington and Middlesbro Engines ought not to be allowed to Burn Nut Coals as small Coals can be Got at A Reasonable Rate, and no Engine in the Coal Trade that I know of uses any thing else
2nd Is the Halling of waggons at Brusselton East & West Banks and Black Boy Branch I have had 2 or 3 offers for Brusselton West Bank less then the Company is now paing, dose the Company think it would be right to take offers

in for the above places;
3d Is the Repairing of waggons Broke by the Companys Engines I think the Company would do well to take offers in from the different waggon Builders upon the various scantlers used

Jos {2/6} Coats John {2/6} Sanderson Isac {2/6} Stockdail John {2/6} Smithson Robt {2/6} Jackson for refusing to Bring Loading waggons out of the Sidings at Middlesbrow when Requested to do so by Mr Fallows
Same Day George {5/-} Coats for using abusive Languge to Mr Fallows he will state his Greavance to the Commettee
John Carter was brused between 2 Loading waggons near Middlesbro Mr Fallows will state the Nature of the accident which casued his death
