September 7th Reports made to the Stockton & Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham
To John Morrell for Standing with his waggon in the weigh Siding where he ought not to have stood; he stood untill he saw the Loaded waggons Comming into the Same Siding to go over the weigh and then drove on and met them and Broke one waggon Wheel the Fire Lad was partly to blame for not Stoping his waggons
Damage
Sept 1st William Thompson for taking Loaded waggons past some of Old Etherly waggons that was first on turn to go to Middlesbro. {2/6}

Septr 6th Joseph Stephenson one of the Leaders was over taking as he was comming up near to Carter Lane by the Rocket Engine; the Engine man requested him to put his waggons back onto the Main Line to allow him to pass according to Rule which he did not; but told the Engine man to follow him to Goospool; he then Galloped his horse at the same time the Engine was close up to him; Stephenson thought the Engine was going to Run him down and took his Horse off and was in the act of getting off himself when he fell and one of his waggons went over his Leg and Broke it
