November 18th 1842
J Graham is directed by the Shildon Works & Tunnel Commettee to Sejest to this meeting the propriety of Building a wall at the Extant of the Companys Land ajoining Timothy Hackworths which he bought of Mr Smithson The Length required is about 60 yards
Messrs W & A Kitching offers the Company the use of Their Shed for the Coach Engines to Stand in for the Sum of 20 £ per annum

J Graham Reports That
Three of Brusselton Engines Boilers is down at one End and will Require to be Raised which will take about 4 Days to do it; At the Same time I would recomend the West Bank Foot beeing Carried Out about other forty yards so that the Engine might Start the Waggons upon the Level which would be much Less distructive to the Ropes, And also the Bank head to be relaid as the present Rails are so bad that the Waggons are difficult to Start
