January 15th 1836, J G Reports
On Sunday Night or Early on Monday Morning an Empty waggon was Taking away from Brusselton Engine by some Person or Persons unknowing and Set a main down the West Bank
Agreable to the Orders of Last Commettee Respecting the quantity of water out of Cocker Beck that will be Required
Taking a Days Leading Say 600 Waggons this will Require 35000 Gallons of water Supposing one Halfe Taking from the Darlington Station 17500 the Engine going at the Rate of 36 Strokes per minute will force the above quantity in about 4 Hours
