And as it respects any improvements that can be made to give greater Facility to the Coaches and Goods _ 1st Another way is very much wanted at the place we now start from for the Carrage waggons at Stockton __ Should the Company still continue to Hall the Coaches

and Carrage waggons at the same time, The Carrage Waggons ought to be all mounted upon Springs as the Goods cant be kept upon them in the present state they are in; they are also very injureous to the Railway and dangerous to Passengers as the Lead and Side Boards of the Waggons &c are falling off amongst the wheels whilst Traveling.
I would therefore Recomend the Company to Hall the Coaches with the Planet and North Star Engines, And the Goods with the Globe or Locomotion as it is my Opinion that neither the Bigg Engines nor Railway will Stand the Spead we are now Traveling at
