November 24th 1831 George Snaith got of the way in going down Darlington run and Robert James followed him dowen with all his Breakes up and ran into Snaith Horse Carrage and broke it and lamed Snaiths Legg and upset one of Addelaids Waggons and Coals into the Ditch and Stopped the road 2 Houres { 5/- ascertain damages amnt to be paid }
