November 20th 1835, J Graham Begs leave to inform the Committee that the Whistle upon the Engines on the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway is not so good a thing as was Represented to be he therefore cant Recomend it

Agreable to the Orders of Last week J G has appointed a Person at each of the Coach Stations, to see whether the Steam is Likely to be got up in time and has giving them directions to Engage other Engines or Horses if Required

Agreable to the Orders of Last Week, J Graham Reports that the Coal Trade Enginemen when taking to Hall the Coaches between Stockton and Darlington ought to be paid 5/- per Journey for themselves and Fireman to make it an inducement for them to be willing to take Hold 3/- being the Regular price And on the Middlesbro Journey to be paid 2/6 per

J Graham Begs Leave to call the attention of the Commettee to the Coupling Chains again no notice having been taking of the Minute Sent to the Coal Owners respecting the Plan beeing adopted for fixing the Coupling
