September 14th Reports made to the Stockton & Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham
September 14th George Forsters Driver for neglecting to adjust the Switches to answer the Main Line after putting his Horse Carrage into the Siding at Shildon No 9 Engine came up and Bent one of his wheel Rims 5/-
Gentlemen
as we have got 3 new Engines and all appearently to work well; I have reduced the Number of Horses and by making A little arraingment with the Engines we can nearly Lead all the Stockton Coals with Engines; The Company now has 19 Engines 16 Good working Engines and 3 Small Ones; So long as we can have 10 out of the 16 upon the Line we Can Lead the Coals; Several of the Leaders has applied

to com on again and take what may be Left for them if the Company think good of it
