April 26th 1833 Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

Gentlemen
As it regards the change making with Joseph Stephenson William Lysle and Thos Hildrah at the watering stations at Darlington and Bowsfield Lane _________
I would propose that Joseph Stephenson and Wm Lysle attends the Engine at Darlington Night and day 12 Houres about for the sum of 12 Shillings each, per week and to attend constant to the well and see that no water runs to waste
And that Thomas Hildrah attends the Engine at Bowsfield Lane and keep the Engines sup-

lied with water Night and day for the sum of [blank] shillings per week – and to have the Privelage of Repairing waggons Broke by Engines

The trade has gon very well on all this week and we have been very well suplied with Engine Power; Three of Our Engines has Broke there Axels during the week
