May 23d 1834 Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

John Coal who Fires for the Coach Engine has asked permission to leave the Company, and go to the Shields and Stanhope Railway to work an Engine sent there by Hackworth & Downing, Coal is a very Steady active young man his equal for the above work will be bad to find, on those grounds I declined giving him an answer but Refared him to the Commettee to Day.

May 30th 1834 Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

John Graham has consulted Mr Storey about the Best Plan for seccond Class Coaches and both are of opinion that they ought to be made nearly of the same plan as the Manchester & Liverpool seccond Class Coaches, Mr Storey will have a plan ready to lay before the Committee of the above Coaches one of them ought to be got made as soon as possable for the Middlesbro Line if the Company approves of the Plan.
