Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham Feb 3rd 1832

January 28th John Laidler & one of [struck through] the plate layers brought A Loading Waggon and Horse Carrage away from Codling Bridge to Darlington to Ride on had she bean a Bad Running Waggon She might have been left on the Road {2/6}

January 30th 1832 Wm Hildrah and one of Charles Laws men stoped there Horses and Waggons at the top of Darlington Run and went into the Lane to Fight {5/- to be dismissed}

January 30th Stephen Short and John Wilson left A peace of timber lying near Stockton Lain; only 8 Inches from the Rail of the Main line the timber was 15 feet Long and 2 feet sqr; One of the Engines William the 4th came down shortly after and would have Received Considerable Damage had it not bean seen by the way men Reported by John Bell __{ 5/- each } [struck through]
