July 12th William Straffair one of Butterknowl agents who Seldom lets A Day pass over without Interfearing with waggons: Ran 11 of there waggons out of the Cut and left them standing upon the Battery so as to Obstruct the Main Line;

Same Day Dixon and Allison 2 Coal Fitters, Thought as William Straffair had Run his waggons they had the same right to Interfear in Runing waggons and did so; they Ran Old Etherly waggons past the

I have sent the Horses on to the Middlesbro Line again to get the 2 Engines from there to assist us as we are short of Power Between Darlington and Stockton on account of so many Engines being off __________ We have got slowly on this week with the Shipping __
