July 11th 1834 Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham
The Shildon Engine could not get into the shade Last week as was expected to get her new Tube in on account of the Globe Engines Tube being in such a bad state that it was obliged to be Taking Out, and the New Tube put in which was nearly finished she will be Out in the Course of 2 or 3 Days_____
The Shildon Engine is halling the West End coach while the Globe Engine is in
On Wednesday last I was obliged to Stop the Shildon Coach on account of

wheels being out of Truth and the Bolts at the Ends of the Springs being Broke, she is now in the works at Shildon getting Horns put on to prevent the axles from being throwing Out of Truth, She is in a very dirty State and wants Painting very sore
