January 6th 1837
Jno Graham Reports to the Commettee

On Friday last only 9 Keels were teemed at Stockton and 5 Ships Laid to the Staiths to take in Coals and Plenty of Coals down to Load them

On account of the great demand for Coals at Croft and Darlington Depots JG has been obliged to assist in getting the Coals to the above Places with Engines

Agreable to the orders of last week J G has made inquiry Respecting George Wright and was Informed that he and

his Famley are much destressed and have been releaved this week by the Oversear with 5 Shillings

{ J Graham to give him 20/- in small sums }
