July 26th 1844
J Graham Reports That he has seen J Unthank Respecting the haulage of Waggons at Middlesbro According to Unthanks Statement the Company will be liable to pay to him The Ammount according to Bills Sent in up to the End of Present Month I should then Recomend Joiceys contract to take place in which the Whole of the Work will be included

J Graham begs to call the Attention of the Commettee to the properiety of making some further Arrangements for the Trade as the whole of our Engine Power may be considered fully employed at Present
On account of the Length of our Coal Trains I am of opinion that it would be a great advantage to have a Boy to assist in Greasing or Oiling the Waggons Both in point of Time & Saving of Expence in damage done to Waggons
