John Graham Reports

Agreable to the Orders of Last week J G has Ordred an Incline Rope of Rowland Webster to be delivered at St Helens Auckland for the Sum of 53/- per Cwt Payment by bill of 3 Months

J G has also agreed with Hawks & Co for 20 Sets of Malable Iron Coach Wheels with the Improved Tyers to be delivered at Stockton for the Sum of 24£ per Set

J G having proved that the Cast Iron Wheels got from the Above Co Stands better than any other Cast Iron

Wheels he has tried upon the Tenders, he has therefore Agreed to take 20 Sets of the Above Wheels subject to the approval of this Commettee, with the Tread of the Wheel 4½ Inches the Same to be delivered at Stockton for the Sum of 8/- per Cwt which is the Lowest price we are paying

J G having consulted with Some of the Members of the Commettee Respecting the Management of the Carrying Department it was considered expedient to appoint Smiles Richardson to Look after Goods at Stockton and to See that every
