Septr 21st 1832 Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham

Damage don to waggon by John Morral as was Reported on the 7th 16 Shillings and 6
{Morrell 10/- Thompson 6/6}

We have had plenty of power all this week for to Lead the Coals and could have led A great deal more if they had been sent from the Collierys; until Last night the Coals got A Hid of us which ought not to have been the case; Provided the Engine men that had there Engines in the Hospitle had Looked out and gon away with other Engines; there was 7 Engines

standing all night and 10 Sets of Engine men Lying idle that had there Engines off work; To avoid this and to inable us to keep up A Regular Power as soon as an Engine is put in to get repairs the Engine man ought to enquire what Engine he must go with until his own is Repaired; without this is don we never can Calculate upon Any Regular Power.
