June 22nd Reports made to the Stockton and Darlington Railway Commettee by John Graham
June 12; 8 Sheeves and 4 Stands was Broke in Brusselton West Bank with the Cupling Chain Hanging down the Waggon belonged to Witton Park the waggons belonged to Witton Colliery [struck through] and had no Crook to Hang the Chain up with; Damage 3£ 6 s

June 14th Charls Jenneson for not Regulating the Spead of his Engine when A Set of Horse waggons was traveling before him up Preston Battrey: But Ran voilently up against them; and Broke the Horse Carrage and threw the Engine and tender off the way – {pay all damages}

June 21st David Peares for not Regulating his Spead down Myers Flat when one of his wheels Broke and one of the Railes Broke also; Damage about 2 £ {pay damages}
Between Saturday night and Monday morning some eavel desposed person or persons had got to William 4th Engine and unscrewed the Spring Valve and took it away from Croft Branch End
In Obeadence to your Orders of Last week I have paid particular attention to the Repairing of waggons; and I can see no other meanes to Induce the Coal Owners to Repair there waggons but to Stop them when they Came Over the Incline Plains in A Lamed State
