Timothy Hackworth and John Graham has seen the Engine men and Consulted with them conserning ther Prices, and desired them to send us in A Statement of the Consumption per Jorney they have don so which I Consider A very unreasonable One Mr Hackworth will giv it to the Company
To asertain and giv setesfaction to the Company it would be advisable to take 3 Engines for 3 Months to try the Experement with
Octr 24th A Mason Imployd for Captain Cumby for taking One of Adelaid waggons away from Ayclife Lane to Lead Sand with, without Leave and Laid upwards of 5 tons upon the waggon. {To be taken before Capt Cundy –}
