and run A Coach from the Auckland Road at Saint Helens Town End every Morning to meet the Train at Darlington; It can be done at A Very moderate expence, as we can get over the Hill by the Parmenent Engine without the assestents of A Horse; And as we are Leading the Darlington Coals by Engines, I would Lead them by one of the small Engines and go three times A Day and meet the Train at Darlington every time with A Coach at the End of the waggons; It would be advisable to only Run oncce A Day from Auckland untill we see how it works it can be done with safety and without A Horse, The Only

Thing wanted to enable us to start would be switches puting in at Brusselton Engine to Let the Coach Pass the waggons at the Top of the Hill, and Another pare at the west Bank Foot to Leade out on to the Main way untill A siding about 200 yards Long is put in for that Purpose; If this was done I would undertake to Run the Coach from Auckland to Middlesbrow in 3 Houres including stopages; which would be A very great accomodation to the Public and the means of getting A Great Increase of Passengers
I have consulted Mr Storey with the arraingment and alterations that would have to be made; so that he will be able to State the Expence if the Company approves of the Plan
