July 10th 1835 Jno Graham Reports to the Commettee
July 8th William 4th Engine and tenders were throwing off the way near Aycliffe Lane by a Swey or Leaver which is used for Lifting the Blocks on the Railway the Swey was Standing nearly parpendicular with one End of it under the Block, one or more of the Engines had passed whilst Standing in this possision and Just as the Above Engine Came to the Spot the Swey fell inbefore the Tender
July 10th the Switches at the Foot of Black Boy Plain was wedged wrong by William Hunter who had put an Empty waggon into the above Switches

and had not ajusted them, the Adelaid Engine & Train Came down Shortly after and was throwing off the way
