Septr 11th 1835, John Graham Reports to the Commettee

Agreable to the orders of Last week, J Graham has made further inquiry respecting the detention of Deanery waggons; and reports that the Colliery has been constantly supplied with waggons Since the Latter part of July, and at that time they were Out of Ships, we have had about 50 Empty waggons Standing at the Branch End belonging to Deanery Colliery that has not been wanted since the above date, and J Graham has sent to the Colliery different times requesting them to take the waggons to the Colliery and set them off the way, the Trade having been put to great inconvenience

by their waggons accumulating at the Branch End

Jno Graham having giving the Complaint made to the Commettee Last week by Mr Taylor due Consideration respecting the Engines Stopping at Darlington with there Loading waggons, and the Ships at Middlesbro, having been detained thereby; J G is well aware that it is an advantage to the Contractors to have there Engines to Stop near the works, But as it has proved to be Injurious to the trade at different times, not only by the Ships being detained, But the Collieries has Frequently been out of waggons, and there waggons Standing at Darlington,
