On Tusday Last an Axle Broke upon one of Tees Wallsend waggons whilst Traveling with the Shildon Coach Train, the waggon was throwing off the Way and much Broke[.] J Graham considers the Colliery Liable to Damages as the axle was nearly cut through
On Monday Last 2 of Butterknowle Colliery waggons was Broke on the West Side of Brusselton Hill J G will Explain
J Graham having been directed to Report the Best mode of fitting up a third Class Carriage for the Middlesbro Line to Convey Passengers for 2d each, J Graham would Recomend one of the Frames

with Seats which we now have fitted up for the Spring waggons being placed upon one of the Carriage waggons without Springs this Could be done without going to any expence to make a trial
J Graham having been requested to Report upon the great Irregularity of the weights of the Export Waggons and the results that may be deduced from P Tulleys Report
J Graham begs Leave to inform the Commettee from the Expearament that he has tried with the 2 waggons Last week that the extray weight has not been all got by water but Raither by giving good measure and as it has been proved
