January 14th 1836, J Grahams Report on the State of the Railway &c
Gentlemen
It is my oppinion that there is not a very Seareous differance in the State of the Road between the Last year and the Present Time altho on the whole the Road is Raither worse Cheafly the New Road which may not have got to its Set and the old Rails which are Daily getting worse, the Contractors has always shown a dispassion and giving every Assistance to Cleare the Road in all Accidents
