April 1st 1836 Jno Graham Reports to the Commettee that he has made inquirey respecting the Clame made by Joseph Jackson Last week and finds it to be correct, the Ground was occupied by him 2 years

On Saturday Last Hackworth & Downing tried there Locomotive Engine again contrary to the Orders of this Company after having been repeatedly told not to do so

April 2d Two Passengers Lost the Coach at St Helens on account of the Bishop Auckland Car not having been in time, this being a Loss to the Company of 3/- and 2/6 to Pay for a Dandy Cart besides. J G Recomends the amount to be keept off G Reed 5/6
