Complaint has been made respecting Small Coal not having been forwarded to Yarm this J G will explain
{ The fault in Knox not writing }
J G has given the order respecting waggons Standing in Croft Branch at the Bank Top Houghton Lane &c due consideration and has recomended the Engineer to put in a Shut for the use of the Brick Garth and would further Recomend a Horse to Lead the Coals from Tullys to the above places

John Graham Reports to the Commettee
20 of the Companys Chaldron Waggons which the Owners of Woodhouse Close Colliery has had the use of are Returned to the Company
Agreable to the wish of the Commettee J G has Appointed Thos Sourby to Inspect the Waggons &c
On Saturday Last Jno Holmes took the Wrong Line with his Engine at Shildon
