J Graham Reports that the Great N E Railway Co having applied to this Co for Locomotive Power
J G has agreed to Haul the Coals upon the above Line for the Sum of a Halph Penney per Ton per Mile so Long as the Road is kept Open The G N E Co to Stand to all Risk & Damages done to our Engines or Tenders by the Line or Works being Imporfect

That the Coach Engine Shed at Shildon is to[o] Short, And would recomend it being Lengthened so as to Hold the Spare Engine
J G Further Reports that the Engine Sheds at Stockton & Middlesbro is Sufficient for what’s Wanted at present But One for the Merchandice Engine at Darlington is much Wanted
