On Saturday Last the Crank Shaft of the North Star which is Pumping the Water at the B Boy Branch Broke. It is Temporley Repaired but not to Depend upon Long, as the Company have Spare Cylinders, a Crank & Shaft J G would Recomend the Old Engine to be taking away and Replaced by one of these Cylinders

That he has Superentended The weighing of a number of Waggons from each Colliery and that a very Small proportion are Correctly Tared; The Inclosed will show the difference between the actual weight of the waggons and the Tare heretofore taking by the weigh House Agents
