Agreable to the orders of the Commettee I have agreed with the Locomotive Enginemen to be Paid by the Trip The Company Finding all Coals Hemp Oil Tallow &c after the following Rates viz
To Middlesbro 5/- Fireman 3/6
“ Stockton ) 4/6 “ 3/-
“ Yarm )
“ Darlington) 2/- “ 1/6
“ York Junction)
The above to commence on Tusday next the First Day of February

I have also Made considerable Reductions and Alterations in the Working of the Permenent Engines and Incline Plains by which a Saving will be effected of from 5 £ 10/- to 6 £ per week
To commence at the Same time as the former
